Vacation!

So I should have done this a few days ago since I've been home for nearly a week but whatever I guess ya'll should just be glad I'm doing anything. :D I went to visit Mary and her delightful family! It was a surprise for Mary which made it more special. :D It was super fun and a nice relaxing vacation. I spent a lot of time playing with the girls which is exactly what I wanted.

The day before I flew out me, Mary and the girls drove into St. Louis to see the arch and took the girls to the zoo. It was fun the girls loved the penguins and laughed as they swam in their tank. They also really loved the butterfly house. Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from the trip.

The first one is a cute little penguin posing, then the girls laughing at the penguins swimming, then the 3 of us in front of the sea lions, then the girls in the butterfly house. Then you have my favorite 3 I took at the arch. Then each girl at the park. They are so adorable!

Super Bowl!

So I'm kinda of a fan of football and I happen to really enjoy watching the Super Bowl. It's not even necessarily about the football. I love the commercials and the snacks and the hanging out with family thing. All that means I'm kind of excited for today's game. It should be a good time and maybe I'll win something in the little Super Bowl pool. Probably not though, I never win. Oh well I'm off to shower so I can go to the party here shortly. :D Go Steelers!

Yay!

In case you couldn't tell from previous posts I'm kind of a fan of Obama. So I just wanted to take a second here to share with you the joy I felt today while watching him give his inaugural address. I'm super happy that he is now our President and I look forward to watching him work, while keeping my fingers crossed that he can fix some of the problems we are facing right now. It will not be easy but I think it can be done, eventually.

Video

So this is my new favorite youtube video. It's from some show that was on in like 2000 or something like that. As I'm sure you can see it is 3 guys singing in drag. I don't know why but I love watching guys in drag. It makes me laugh. These are the guys that are shown in the clip, Kyle Howard, who you probably don't know from anywhere he's been in some TV shows and the movie Orange County; Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes among other things and Chris Evans from Fantastic Four. They are all pretty cute guys but as women the only one who could pass is Evans he actually pulls it off quite well. Good for him. =) Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Happy New Year!

So with the new year upon us I decided to do something I haven't done in quite a few years I'm going to set myself a couple new years resolutions.

1. Try and get healthier. It's time for me to start eating better and exercising. That's really it I'm sick of feeling like crap because I'm fat. First step is to cut back on my sweets and soda. For a while I was going well with this but the holidays screwed up the sweet thing...

2. Go back to school. To accomplish that I need to decide what I really want to do with the rest of my life. That's really the hard part.

3. Get a place of my own. I'm way to old to be living in my parents basement. Especially since I'm not going to school. (Maybe accomplishing number 2 will postpone this one but I can deal with that.)

Really I think that's it. 3 hopefully fairly easy goals to accomplish. Number 1 will have more steps but I'm not thinking about them now. One step at a time.

Happy New Year! I wish everyone the best of luck with their new years resolutions and a safe and happy 2009!

Slacker

So I've been a terrible blogger lately. It' more that I haven't had anything much to talk about and the couple of things I've wanted to say never seemed to shape up well enough for me to publish them. But yesterday me and Lisa went down to Salt Lake to see the Body Worlds exhibit. It was great! We took the train down and totally enjoyed the whole cosmopolitan aspect of taking the train and walking and such. So body worlds was awesome! If you want more info click here.

After the exhibit me and Lisa went to a late lunch/old people dinner at our favorite Salt Lake restaurant Ztejas. It's so so yummy! Yeah that's really all I have to say for a much more clever and interesting recap (with pictures) of our day out check out Lisa's blog.
